I phoned the police at 2042 on the 12 -8-17 and told them that there was a light on in my neighbours and they were on holiday they told me they would send someone to look around and to be fair they have this morning at about 9ish -I stayed up up most of the night to make sure that all was well had there been someone in the house I could not have stopped them
The girl who looked through the window this morning left me a card telling me she had looked -I all so had a word with her and asked if this was because of my phone call and she said she had only just come back of holiday so come not come - I did ask her if she was the only police office in Huddersfield and to this she said they were busy on Saturday - when I said there was a light on in someone house they should have come to look in to it
so this morning I was got up by a police woman in the flesh
